Telluride's downtown sits deep in a narrow box canyon — a tight historic grid, little room to spare. Mountain Village, up on the mesa, is different: newer resort construction, condos and homes built around ski access. Renovation work drives both markets. Half the time the container-size question isn't really about the job. It's about where a truck can actually park.

Steep canyon walls and limited staging space mean a Telluride delivery usually needs a specific spot worked out ahead of time — there's rarely an open driveway to just back into. Mountain Village has more room to place a container. What it has instead is gondola traffic and pedestrian-only zones near the resort core to route around. Winter runs long at this elevation, and snow narrows both towns' streets for months at a stretch, so a drop scheduled outside summer is worth confirming against conditions first.
